It's All About Da Coffee!!!!!!!!!!!

A Photographic Ode to Coffee (lifted from the Sauce Magazines daily newsletter)

When you order a double – no, make that a triple – shot of espresso from your barista of choice, or when you reach bleary-eyed for a cup of coffee in the comfort of your own home, you're probably thinking more about that day's to-do list than where your morning joe came from.

But, as it turns out, the story behind coffee is pretty darn captivating, and the cast of characters who come into contact with the beloved bean along the way are ever-so interesting, too.

You can find out more at the Missouri Botanical Garden, where photographs and accompanying text from The Birth of Coffee project are on display. You won't want to miss this brewful adventure, which allows you to delve into black-and-white evidence of a five-continent, eight-country journey taken by a husband-and-wife team as they investigated what exactly what happens between planting the caffeinated crop and pouring cream into a freshly brewed mug.
