Saturday Ride April 14th. & Sunday April 15th.

Saturday I am thinking of doing the 50 miles of hills we missed last week due to the cold.

I would like to start from Kaldis in Chesterfield Valley about 9:00 am to loop out to St. Albans (the hard way), Six Flags for Allenton Hill, and Woods Road. Once again 50 miles or so of riding.

Let me know if your interested.

Sunday I plan to be riding to the Flat as a Floodplain Ride. Since Cheri has posted that she is doing the same, and her house is six miles closer to the start, I am going to be starting from the Lopatin's (guess they just found out). Its 25 miles each way to and from the start of the Flat as a Floodplain Ride (from the Lopatin's) so I might only do a portion of the Flat as a Floodplain Ride.

Let me know your plans.

Since registration is from 9:30am - 11am, how does an 8am start time sound?

I'll plan to meet you Saturday at Kaldi's. If I am not there it is because I have shul duty.

I will meet you at the Lopatin's on Sunday at 8:00 AM and we'll do what we can.

Flat as a Pancake and Flat as a Floodplain are two different rides. If you do Flat as a Pancake on Sunday you'll want to start over in Illinios. You'll also be very early to the ride (as in weeks).

:)

I'm going to KC for a brevet this weekend, so I'll probably miss you all. There are two start options for this weekend's 300k. I'm leaning towards the Sunday start, so I'll be driving to KC Saturday afternoon.

By the way, the 3S3M is filling up fast. Registration closes April 23rd (or sooner). If you're going, you need to get registered.

Also, I still have all the hotels, plus I got the message that the Lopatan's added another room.

Ride safe Saturday. It could be a pretty crummy day. Did anyone ride last weekend? I didn't. A brevet was scheduled, but I didn't even bother. There is another chance for the same distance on April 21st, and I'm hoping the weather is better.

Mike, good luck. We'll keep our fingers crossed for Saturday. Sunday we rode to Valley Park and throught Webster Groves. It was a good ride. We found a new Starbucks.

Mike,

I dont have any clue what you mean about Pancake ride. It clearly says floodplain.

Good luck on the brevit. Make sure to ride safe.

Mark,

I can get you out of shul duty. I have pull with a VP of the congregation.

I wonder if that has been edited?

Editing would have been deceitfull.

I'm in for the 8am start at the Lopatins for Sunday's Flat as a Floodplain Ride. Or is it Floodpancake? : )

Hey, if anyone wants to get to my house a little early Sunday and have some breakfast, I'm makin' it. I've got some Smart Balance Oatmeal (160 cal, 3g fat, 26g carb, 6g fiber, 6g pro). Can add bananas, blueberries, pecans, brown sugar, butter...any, all or none. Roark, if you're still low-carbing, I've got some Morning Star veggie sausages (80 cal, 3g fat, 3g carb, 2g fiber, 10g pro). I also make a pretty good eggs-over-easy and toast. Let me know if you're interested and if you know what you want, I'll have it ready. And, of course, I'll have a pot of coffee waiting.

The pot of coffee is pending the purchase of a new coffee pot (the old one shattered a couple of days ago)!!!

Brian,

Sounds to me like your volunteering to pick up the Starbucks.

I am in for offered snausages and eggs.

I am in for the oatmeal. Or we could start at the McDonald at Westport Plaza and there is a Starbucks in the area.

Its gonna be a bit cold at 8:00 but I think I can handle it...see you at the Lopatin's at 8.

Roark, I'll have your bike case so after the ride I'll drop it off.

Ron,

I thought you were my storage lot for my bike case.

Roark,
Since we use your case more than you do, I guess I could find a place for it in my overly stuffed garage that I can't get my car's into.

Cheri, I love oatmeal...the more stuff in it the better.
