SPRING!!! SPRING!!! SPRING!!!

Rusty Riders, last week we got 58 miles in of cold weather riding! Cold enough that I am home sick with a bad cold.

So while laying about listening to Good Morning America what did I hear?

Friday: Abundant sunshine. Highs in the low 50s and lows in the low 30s.
Saturday: Occasional showers possible. Highs in the low 50s and lows in the low 40s.
Sunday: Occasional showers possible. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid 40s.

My plans are to be fully recovered and ride Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Who wants to enjoy SPRING?

If no "Honeydos" or other stuff, Fri and/or Sat look good. I work the weekend so I would need to finish 2ish on Sat.

Brian and Cheri,
We had planned to ride a Meetup ride starting downtown at the riverfront trail head at 10:30 am. If John etc are willing to leave from my house instead, we could loop U City and hook up with you all on the way to creve coeur park and crooked tree. Anythoughts....John, Rick, Bill?

Sounds like fun but will run too late for me (at least the Crooked Tree part). If the plan is to meet up with the Lopatin's at 1:00, I could just head back to Roark's from there. So, is the plan to leave from Roark's at 10:30?

Rick,

Just talked with John, the plan is my house lets say 10:45. We first ride the area around here, and loop out by the Lopatins around 1:00 pm to head to Crooked Tree

You could cut back to my house instead of the Lopatins. I think both rides would be on approximately the same time frame because the Sacred Grounds Ride was making multiple stops and doing at least 50 miles.

Any ideas for Sunday? It will be my first time out. Could meet Dan Bauer at Kaldi's in Kirkwood before 9:00 and ride into city and meet up with his friends? Let me know. I will be riding.

I'll be riding Sunday. Anything between 20 and 50 miles would be fine by me.

Ok, here are my thoughts given that its late, I was out over-eating.

I really dont want to be on the road at 9:00 am....brrrrrrrrr. I up for a ride starting about 10:30 or so. I have 48 miles in today, 38 on Friday, so I dont really need more then 30 tommorow. So someone make a plan, and I am there, including my house to start.

Here is an idea. Since it is my first ride and Mike and Tom's first ride. Not sure about Jason. I am going to ride from my house and meet Roark at his house at 10:30. Jason you could meet up with us at Roark's. If you need his address it is Dielman and Engels - at the end of Engels in Olivette. Then we can ride into Forest Park and meet up with Mike and Tom at visitor's center around 11:00 and head for coffeee/light lunch and then I will head back toward Chesterfield.

As Hannibal Smith of the A team once said, "I love it when a plan comes together". I am in, expecially like being able to lay around more this morning.

I will be ready to ride at 10:30.
