I'm up for a ride Sunday. There is a Trailnet ride in Mascoutah, IL....about 50 min drive. Anyone interested in that one? The routes are 16, 26, 37, or 50 miles.

I'm planning on riding Saturday with Dr. Dan's group, and then the Trailnet ride on Sunday. I'll do the 50+ mile route on Sunday.

I plan on riding the Trailnet ride Sunday. When is everyone leaving? Is anyone interested in doing more than the 50 mile long ride? We could do the 50 mile route and then one of the shorter routes.

I'm also planning to ride Sunday's Trailnet ride on the 50 mile route.

I'm planning to get there by 7:30a. Yes to the 50 mile route. Would consider additional loop, but will play it by ear. Assuming it will be flat, but HOT!!

I'll shoot to be ready to roll by 7:30 am. I'm up for more than 50 miles as well.

A couple of things about riding two loops: I've found that is better to ride the short or medium / short loop first. That way if you start early and finish that loop in a realatively short amount of time you will be "starting" the longer loop with other riders who are just starting for the day, and you will see more cyclist. If you do it the other way around, by the time you finish the first long route, there are not so many cyclist on the road when you are on the short. Plus if you really want to make sure you do the 60-75 miles you intend, then you're better off doing the short first again. When you're finished with the short or medium and only sitting at 15-30 miles, you'll go on to the second loop. If you're sitting at 50 miles after the long loop first it's too easy to blow off the added loop and just go home. You can always cut the second (long) loop short if you get tired or find yourself pressed for time.

Why don't we try the 26, followed by the 50? We can always cut the 50 back to 37 if we need to. At 15-17 miles per hour we should finish the 26 mile loop in 90-105 minutes. All being ready to roll at 7:30 will be important.

I'll see you all there at 7:30.
I like Mike's plan for doing the short route first.
