Saturday October 21st

I know how much everyone enjoyed 100 miles of Calhoun County. So before I fully recover my mental facilities; anyone up to try my 100 miles of the Hills of St. Louis County. Just think my 80 miles of hills ride, with 20 more thrown in for good measure.

Just to convince you more we can bail and make it 80 miles, if needed. Of course the Third Kaldis will be missed if we bail.

I'm in - but it has to be Saturday. Maybe we can call it the "I hope it's windy as hell both directions" ride. Or was that Saturday?

I'd like to shoot for the 100, and keep the 80 as an option. This would be my 15th century of the year, which is a nice number. Does this ride start at your house? What time would you say? I think we need to shoot to meet at 8:45, or even 8:30, so we are for certain rolling by 9:00. Riding in West County, and Saint Charles, we won't have the ferries, but we will certainly have red lights. We won't have 35 miles of relatively flat either (which saved our time this past weekend). I'd bet on it being the better part of an 8 hour day, so rolling by 9:00 will be important.

I'm also REALLY hoping to get in a light spin on Wednesday. I'm going to shoot to meet you at Roark's, assuming a group is riding Wednesday night. I'll need to be off my bike around 7:00, so I'll head to Roark's earlier to ride to the city with the group and then bail.

If it turns out no one is riding Wednesday I'll probably just run down the riverfront trail, or around Forest Park right quick.

We start from my house, with two options along the route to join the train; the first is St. John's Hospital on Conway at Ballas, the second is Kaldis in Chesterfield Valley. My preference is we all start together but this gives late starters a chance to hook on, and finish later.

8:45 for gathering is good, with a 9:00 am roll time.

Wednesday is out for me, I am once again stuck traveling on bussiness, but feel free to gather at my house for anyone able to ride.

Can't make that one...I'll be in Branson Mo. camping in a large trailer and trout fishing.
